The following questions are most often asked. If you don’t find your specific question(s) answered below, please read “My Rules”, call me or send an email.
What should I bring?
- Layered clothing – per specific season
- Rain gear – check the weather for the day
- Sun glasses – polarized is best
- Sun block – if you need a specific type
- Camera – waterproof digital is best
- Waders –when wading in cold water (chest waders are best)
- Texas Freshwater Fishing Licenses, and when appropriate, Trout stamp
Do you have a restroom on the boat?
No. However, most lakes do have facilities within a reasonable distance.
Do you furnish lunch?
No. However, I do furnish snacks, water and soft drinks.
Can we use live bait?
Yes. You are not limited to artificial. However, I do charge extra for other types of bait and should be requested in advance.
Do your rates include transportation?
No. Transportation is not included in my rates. A specific time and location will be determined in advance. However, special arrangements can be arranged in advance at an additional cost.
Do you offer discounts for multiple days?
Yes, anytime you book 2 or more full days, I offer a discount. Please contact me to make arrangements and pricing.
If we get tired of fishing, can we go sightseeing and/or swimming?
Yes. I am your hired servant for the paid period.
If we want to go in early, do we get a refund for the unused time?
No.
In the case of a medical emergency, I will offer another trip of equal value at no additional cost.
If dangerous weather forces us to quit early, I will credit the lost time @ $25 per hour towards another trip. I do not give additional credit for trailing boats or extra people.
If dangerous weather does not allow us to begin our trip, full credit will be given towards a different day. Any credits must be used within 12 months of original trip date.
Can I bring my own equipment?
Yes. Even though I furnish high quality equipment, some people are just more comfortable using their own rods, reels and lures. If you plan to use your own, I can give you a list of lures and equipment to bring.
